Overview

The Gurung Village Luxury Trek is a comfort-first Himalayan experience designed for travelers who want beautiful mountain scenery and authentic village life without long, high-altitude trekking. You begin with premium stays in Kathmandu at Kathmandu Guest House (KGH Suite), then fly to Pokhara and ease into the Annapurna foothills with a short drive and a scenic trek through terraced hillsides and traditional Gurung villages.

On the trail, you mix high-quality lodge comfort with local character – staying at Mountain Lodges of Nepal (MLN) in Landruk and Ghandruk, plus a local traditional teahouse lodge in Chhomrong for a more authentic village night. The trek finishes with relaxed time in Pokhara at Hotel Barahi, then a short flight back to Kathmandu for a smooth departure.

If you want, you can add optional sightseeing and still return to the hotel with plenty of downtime.

Day 3Fly to Pokhara | Transfer to Hotel BarahiOvernight: 815 m

Fly to Pokhara and check in at Hotel Barahi. The shift in pace is immediate - lakeside calm, great dining, and a softer, holiday-like atmosphere before you start trekking.
Use the afternoon to rest, enjoy the lake area, and get an early night for a fresh start tomorrow.

Day 4Drive Phedi Trek to Dhampus (MLN)Overnight: 1649 m

After a short drive to Phedi, you begin trekking into the Annapurna foothills on classic village trails.
