Nepal Tourism Board announces new rules regarding on arrival VISA in Nepal

The recently updated rules have made it easier for travelers to obtain on-arrival VISAs at Nepal’s international airports. As per the letter from TAAN (Trekking Agencies Associations of Nepal), the list of required things is listed below.

List of things needed from foreigners before entering Nepal in order to apply for on-arrival Nepal VISA:

1)    A copy of the traveler’s passport
2)    Date of arrival in Nepal
3)    Trekking Itinerary
4)    International flight itinerary
5)    A reference letter/confirmation of a 5-day booking at a hotel in Nepal
6)    Travel Insurance of the traveler

List of things required from your trekking agency in order to apply for your on-arrival Nepal VISA:

1)    Name list of trekking crew
2)    TIMS Card for foreign travelers
3)    Up to date official documents and tax clearance copies of the trekking agency
