Lhakpa has been working
in the trekking industry for over a decade, guiding trekkers and travelers
from all over the world throughout Nepal's numerous, diverse trekking
regions. His company, Khumbu Adventures, organizes all sorts of treks
and expeditions in Nepal, from private excursions to fully-supported mountaineering
expeditions. Lhakpa's experience in the world of trekking ranges from
Nepal to Tibet and the Indian Himalayas ...
Originally from Thame, a small Sherpa village in the lap of the mighty
Himalayas, Lhakpa knows and loves the mountains, and shares his enthusiasm
and knowledge of Nepal's trekking regions and peaks with his trekkers.
He now lives in Kathmandu with his wife, Lhakpa Doma, who organizes the
logistics of the treks and
expeditions from their home, and his son, Nuru.
Lhakpa Doma Sherpa:
Coming from another Sherpa village,
Pangboche, Doma is a professional at all trekking logistics. While in
Kathmandu, Lhakpa Doma will takes care of all of your trip arrangements.
She will be at your service from your arrival in Kathmandu untill your
departure, and will coordinate all of your trip arrangements. Lhakpa
spends most his time outdoor, guiding treks in the high Himalayas.
